How the price works

Out of warranty still starts with a warranty check, since recalls and longer battery coverage surprise people in a good way. Anything that is truly on you gets a written price before we start, with each option side by side. Tax applies to parts only. You pick the warranty on our work: 90 days, 1 year or 2 years.

My basic warranty ended. Is my battery still covered?

Very often, yes. Most manufacturers cover the high-voltage battery and drive unit for longer than the rest of the car. We check your VIN and tell you exactly what is left before you pay for anything.

Are used EV parts safe?

Tested ones can be, and for some parts they are the only affordable option. We tell you where each part comes from, test it before it goes in, and put its warranty in writing next to the new and remanufactured options.

Can you repair a high-voltage battery instead of replacing it?

On many packs, yes. Some are built from modules that can be replaced one at a time. Others are sealed and have to be replaced as a unit. We tell you which one you have and what each path costs.

The dealer quoted a full drive unit. Do I have options?

Often. Some drive unit faults are a bearing, a seal or a sensor, not the whole unit. A full diagnosis comes first, then a written price for the smallest fix that actually solves it.

Is an out of warranty EV worth keeping?

Usually. The motor has very few moving parts, and the big battery lasts longer than most people fear. A health check and a list of what the car really needs helps you decide with real numbers instead of guesses.
