How the price works

The estimate is in writing before any paint is mixed. If the paint is part of a claim, we explain what the insurance covers and what is on you. Tax is charged on parts only, not on labor.

Questions people ask

Will the new paint match exactly?
We match the factory paint code and test it on a card before it goes on the car. Because paint fades in the sun, we blend into the panels next to the repair so there is no hard line. On an older car that has faded a lot, blending is what makes the repair invisible.
Why is my clear coat peeling?
Years of South Florida sun and heat break down the clear coat, and once it starts lifting it spreads. Washing does not fix it. The panel has to be sanded, reprimed, and repainted.
How long before I can wash the car?
Wait a couple of weeks before washing and longer before waxing. We give you the care sheet at pickup. Fresh paint keeps curing after it leaves the shop, especially during rain season.
Do you paint the whole car?
Ask us. Most of our work is panel and section repair, which is what most people need. If you want a full repaint, bring the car in and we tell you honestly what it would take.
Can I choose where the car gets painted if this is an insurance claim?
Yes. In Florida you choose the body shop, no matter which one the insurer suggests.
