How the price works

We look up the factory battery warranty first, because if your pack is covered the manufacturer, not you, pays for it. The check itself has a written price before we plug in. Tax applies to parts only, and this job usually has none. Any repair that follows carries the warranty length you choose: 90 days, 1 year or 2 years.

Questions people ask

What does state of health mean?

It is the percent of original capacity the battery can still hold. A pack at 90 percent state of health holds about 90 percent of the energy it did when new, so your full-charge range is about 90 percent of what it was.

How much loss is normal?

Some loss in the first years is normal on every EV, then it usually slows down. What matters is whether your number fits the age and miles of the car and whether it is falling faster than it should.

Does Miami heat wear out the battery faster?

Yes, heat is the biggest factor you can control. Sitting in the sun all day at a high charge ages the pack faster. Parking in shade, keeping the daily charge limit lower and letting the car cool itself while plugged in all help.

Is a range drop always the battery?

No. A/C load, hot pavement, underinflated tires, roof racks and lots of highway speed all cut range without hurting the battery. The check separates real capacity loss from everyday range loss.

Can you fix a battery that tests weak?

Sometimes. If the pack is still under factory coverage and below the manufacturer's threshold, that is a warranty claim and we point you there. Out of warranty, options range from a single module to a replacement pack, and we quote each one in writing.

I drive rideshare and fast charge every day. Should I check more often?

Yes. High miles and daily fast charging are the hardest life a battery can have. A yearly check catches a problem while it is still covered or still small.
