EV and Tesla repair for Sunrise
Between Sawgrass Mills, the office parks off the Sawgrass Expressway and a daily run on I-75, Sunrise puts real highway miles on electric cars. Highway miles and EV tires
Heavy EVs with instant torque wear tires faster than gas cars, and highway commuting adds up quickly. Uneven wear on the inside edges usually means the alignment needs attention.
We check tread across the set, rotate and align, and fit tires rated for the weight of an EV. The right tires also keep road noise down, which you notice more in a quiet car.

We work on Teslas and on every other EV brand: Rivian, Mach-E, Ioniq 5, EV6, Bolt, Equinox EV, Leaf, ID.4, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Polestar and Lucid. Tesla or not, we check the factory warranty and recalls first, and everything else gets a written price.
Charging on the go
If you charge at public stations and charging is always slow, fails at more than one station, or the cable will not unlatch, the car may be the problem and not the charger. We test the charge port, latch and onboard charger and read the fault codes they leave.
If the car checks out, you know to report the station instead of paying for a repair you did not need.
Heat, parking lots and the 12V battery
Long days parked in open lots in the sun are hard on the 12V battery, the small battery that wakes the car up. When it weakens, you may see a warning, or the car may not wake up at all. We test it and replace it when it is failing, and we check the big battery's health with a written report if range has dropped.

Take Sunrise Boulevard east to State Road 7 (US 441) and turn south, past Broward Boulevard. Or take Broward Boulevard east to State Road 7 and turn south. We are between Broward Boulevard and I-595 in Plantation.
