A hybrid system warning can come from the hybrid battery, its cooling fan, the inverter and its cooling system, a sensor or the 12V battery. Those are very different repairs, so we read the codes and test before quoting. You get the cause and the price in writing.
The hybrid battery: test, clean, then decide
Heat is hard on hybrid batteries, and so is a clogged cooling fan. On many Toyota hybrids, the battery breathes through a vent near the back seat that collects dust and pet hair.
We test the battery and give you a written health report, clean the cooling fan and intake when they need it, and if the battery does need replacing, the written price spells out the options and the warranty that goes with each.
