Transmission repair for Sunrise drivers

Many newer sedans, compacts and crossovers use a CVT, a continuously variable transmission that runs on a belt and pulleys instead of fixed gears. CVTs fail differently. Watch for a whine or drone that rises with speed, a shudder or jerk when you pull away from a stop, revs that climb while the car is slow to pick up speed, or a warning light with the car suddenly down on power.

Some CVT problems need only a fluid service with the correct fluid. Others need the unit repaired or replaced. We check it first and tell you in writing which one you are dealing with.

Not every Sunrise car has a CVT. We diagnose and repair conventional automatics, including solenoids, valve bodies, torque converters and leaks, and we work on manual transmissions and clutches.

Every job gets a written price with photos before we start, and tax only on parts. If a rebuild is the right call, you pick how long it is covered: 90 days, 1 year or 2 years. Texts keep you posted as the car goes from check-in to ready, and the counter speaks English, Spanish and Kreyòl.

If your car has an extended warranty or service contract, talk to us before you approve work anywhere. Many contracts want the diagnosis reported and approved before the repair starts. We diagnose the car, work with the warranty company on the claim, and tell you in writing what is approved and what you would owe before any work begins.

Take Sunrise Boulevard or Oakland Park Boulevard east to State Road 7 (US 441), then head south past Broward Boulevard. We are a few blocks further, on the west side of the road. From the Sawgrass Expressway, you can also take I-595 east to the State Road 7 exit and head north.
