Can rain or a flooded street damage my charge port?
The port is sealed for normal rain. Deep standing water or pressure washing can push water in and cause faults or corrosion. If charging stopped after a flood, tell us.
Why does my EV charge at a public station but not at home?
Then the car is probably fine. Check your home breaker, the outlet, and the charger itself. An electrician may be needed for the home side.
Why does the car stop charging partway through?
Heat can slow or pause charging to protect the battery, especially in a Miami summer. It can also be a loose fitting plug or a port that is overheating. If it keeps happening, get the port checked.
Can a shop that is not the dealer fix an EV?
Yes, for many problems. Ports, 12 volt batteries, and charging faults do not always need the dealer. We test first and tell you if it is a maker warranty repair.
