How do I know if my frame is bent?
Uneven gaps, doors that do not close right, a pull that alignment does not fix, and uneven tire wear are the common signs. The only way to be sure is to measure it, which we do before quoting.
Can a bent frame really be fixed?
Yes, within limits. Modern unibodies are designed to be straightened back to spec, and parts that are too damaged are cut out and replaced. If the damage goes beyond what can be safely repaired, we tell you plainly.
Will the car be safe afterward?
When it is measured and returned to spec, yes. That is the point of measuring instead of eyeballing. We also check the airbags, seat belts, and suspension before you drive it.
Does the insurer get to pick where this is done?
No. In Florida you choose your own body shop. Structural work is exactly the kind of job where you want to pick the shop yourself.
Will it show up on the vehicle history report?
