Electrical work is quoted in two steps: a written diagnostic amount first, then a written repair price once we know the cause. Only parts are subject to sales tax. On the repair you pick 90 days, 1 year or 2 years of warranty, and each option has its own price on the quote.

Questions people ask

Why does salt air matter for electrical problems?
Salt and humidity get into connectors and ground points and build green corrosion that raises resistance. That causes dim lights, flickering and random faults. Cars that live near the water or the causeways see it the most.
Can rats really damage wiring?
Yes, and it is common in Miami. Some newer wire insulation is soy-based and rodents chew through it. We repair the harness and can suggest ways to keep them out of the engine bay.
My window fell into the door. Is that electrical?
Usually the regulator, the cable mechanism that lifts the glass, has broken. The motor may be fine. We open the door panel, replace what failed and make sure the glass runs smooth on the track.
Do you do aftermarket alarm or stereo problems?
We diagnose and repair problems caused by previous installs, like drains and shorts, and can remove old alarms that are causing trouble. We do not install new audio systems.
Why does my car have so many blown fuses?
A fuse that keeps blowing means a short to ground somewhere on that circuit. Putting in a bigger fuse can start a fire. We find the short and fix it.
