Questions people ask

How do I know if my brakes will pass a roadside inspection?
Pushrod stroke and air loss rate are what inspectors measure. We measure both, write the numbers down and tell you which wheels are close to the limit before they cross it.
Are automatic slack adjusters supposed to be adjusted by hand?
No. If an automatic slack adjuster keeps needing manual adjustment it is worn or installed wrong and should be replaced. Adjusting it by hand just hides the problem until the next roadside stop.
Can you fix the trailer's brakes without the tractor?
Yes. Drop the trailer and we test it with shop air. Gladhands, ABS faults and chamber work on trailers are routine here.
Why does my air dryer matter in Miami?
Humidity. A tired air dryer sends water into the tanks and valves, and that turns into sticking valves and corroded ABS parts. We service dryers as part of any air system job.
